About the JobClinical SCORE is a healthcare research company committed to capturing the voices of patients who participate in clinical trials. We deliver research insights to our biotechnology and pharmaceutical clients so that they can optimize the value their medicines bring to patients. The Project Analyst & Patient Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of multiple research studies, maintaining databases, and processing of data for reporting. The Project Analyst & Patient Recruitment Coordinator will be the internal champion for efficient data analysis, but also supporting respondent recruitment from clinical trial sites. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight, and insight into business decisions. The Manager & Patient Recruitment Coordinator will also create quality control plans to identify improvements in Data collection systems, interpretation and analysis of data, and other strategies that optimize efficiency and quality. Duties will/may include:

  • Creation and tracking of project milestones and timelines, organization and tracking of research materials
  • Assist the company with advancing information automation
  • Filter and “clean” data by reviewing computer reports, printouts, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Preliminary analysis of research data, ensuring data is appropriate input into systems used for final analysis and reporting: Identity, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in data sets
  • Coordination with survey programmers and other third-party consultants (ability to program surveys in survey software packages a plus)
  • Interact with clinical trial sites to inform them about projects/studies we are conducting and solicit their participation in the projects.
Capabilities and Skills Sought:
  • Working experience as a junior data analyst or business data analyst.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical experience with data models, database design development, and data mining techniques.
  • Knowledge of and experience with reporting packages (Business Objects etc), databases (SQL, etc), and survey programming (Qualtrics, Python, XML, Javascript, etc).
  • Prefer knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc) and displaying (Power BI) datasets
  • BS in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with comfort making phone outreach.
  • Planning skills with reliable follow-up on project-related tasks.
