As a Patient Care Technician in our General Pediatrics department at Children’s Health, you will play an important part in helping children get the care they need. You will work with nurses and respiratory therapists to provide safe and compassionate care by assisting in managing the customer service experience. This is a full-time, night shift (7p-7a), position within our general pediatrics team at our Plano location – Children’s Medical Center, Plano. The starting pay for this position is $20/hr. As part of the general pediatrics team, you will support care of patients in a variety of specialties of acute care services. Within this team, your duties will range from preparing rooms and assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) to obtaining vital signs and starting IVs. You may also function as a health unit secretary in certain instances as well as provide constant visual observation at times based on the care needs of the patients.
