ProResults Physical Therapy is seeking a Front Desk Receptionist/Patient Care Coordinator for one of our outpatient physical therapy clinic. The Front Desk Receptionist/Patient Care Coordinator will work Monday thru Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM for a total of 40 hours with a one-hour lunch break each day. Responsibilities will include all aspects of front office procedures: patient intake, registration, scheduling, greeting, referral, follow up, insurance & benefits verification, insurance authorization management, medical records and management of incoming phone calls, emails, and faxes. The ideal person for this role loves multitasking, organizing, and sales. There is significant room for growth to potentially be promoted to an Office Manager with time and experience in our company! Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Ensure smooth flow of patients from check-in to check-out. Assist the Physical Therapists and Physical Therapy Aides as needed. Ensure proper greeting and welcoming of patients to our clinic.
Responsible for collecting complete patient information and inputs it into the EMR system.
Ensure prompt answering of telephones with minimal hold times.
Answers phone inquiries from patients/ potential patients with courtesy and promptness.
Works cooperatively with other team members to promote the goals of the organization as a whole.
Ensure appropriate scheduling of patients following office policies.
Works with Clinic Operations Manager on continuous improvement of customer service and operational efficiency.
Responsible for pulling and distribution of faxes.
Responsible for sorting mail and distributing.
Accept projects and other assignments as directed by Clinic Operations Manager.
