The UW Medical Center's Maternal Infant Care Clinic has an outstanding opportunity for a Patient Care Coordinator & Patient Services Specialist Supervisor (Full-Time, Day Shifts). The PCC/PSS Supervisor supervises Patient Service Specialists and Patient Care Coordinators in the MICC and/or other assigned staff and coordinate patient's entry into and through the health care system. With delegated authority, interview and recommend selection of applicants, conduct training, assign and schedule work, perform regular rounding, act upon leave requests, conduct annual performance evaluations and recommend disciplinary action. Under administrative direction, coordinate the delivery of medical care for MICC patients in conjunction with ultrasound, cardiology, Seattle Children’s, neonatology, anesthesiology, and other specialty partners.
Responsibilities:
Perform the work of PCC/PSS Supervisor duties
REQUIREMENTS:
A Bachelor's Degree in a medically related or public relations field AND two years of experience as a Patient Care Coordinator
OR equivalent education/experience.
