Responsibilities Join our SWHS Team of Professionals! SWHS consists of two acute-care hospitals: Inland Valley Medical Center and Rancho Springs Medical Center. As a staff member providing clinical expertise you will be responsible for providing excellence in patient care, collaborative and comprehensive care based on patient and/or family needs, and quality and efficient services. Staff will also practice in accordance with all regulatory, professional, legal and hospital policies as well as consistently demonstrate behaviors that model the SWHS Core Values and the hospitals mission statement. Ø Effective verbal and written communication skills in the English language. Ø Must have patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm as well as willingness to handle difficult patients Ø Must possess the ability to make decisions when circumstances warrant such action, utilizing the appropriate level of supervision (i.e. RN, Manager) Ø Basic knowledge of good body mechanics. Ø Ability to work cooperatively with a wide variety of team members. Ø Ability to accurately collect and record patient data as directed. Ø Basic computer skills, to include MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE
Required:Ø Knowledge of hospital environment. Previous hospital and/or healthcare related experience.
Preferred: 1 year experience as a sitter within an acute hospital setting
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL EDUCATION
Required:
Ø High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (G.E.D.)
REQUIRED LICENSURE / CERTIFICATIONS
Ø BLS Certification * Ø CPI Certification – may be obtained within 60-days of hire *
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Ø Subject to many interruptions. Ø Subject to irregular hours. Ø Ability to work in fast-paced environment where noise levels and temperatures fluctuate. Ø Must be able to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hours
