Southcoast Physicians Group is searching for a Call Center Patient Access Specialist to perform a variety of duties to facilitate patient access to physician practice services throughout Southcoast Physicians Group and Network under the general direction of the Manager, Team Leader, or designee. This role is responsible to answering incoming calls to facilitate entering orders, scheduling appointments, enter prescriptions for the physician’s review, documentation of phone contact with patient, management of the electronic faxes, release of information compliance, inform patients of test results, as well as any other tasks assigned to the Call Center. They will work as a liaison between physician offices and other Southcoast departments to ensure coordination of patient care and patient satisfaction.
