Help a great team put out high end food & events! (PT or FT through the holidays) We're looking for a catering pastry chef who wants to put out high quality pastries and desserts. We have an ongoing need for on-call/ part-time prep chefs and also a seasonal full-time position. We are a generalist shop focused on development. As much as you show you are capable, we will make sure you get a chance to try new things, play with new equipment (we have a lot of chef toys), and even work events (at a higher rate). We're probably not the right spot for someone hesitant.you should like constantly stretching your boundaries. We're a catering company who's customers ask us to do very different things in any given week, so we need chefs who can wrap their head around different approaches based on what makes sense for the week. Bite Catering Couture offers a pastry chef role designed for smart, ambitious pastry chefs who can do a bit of everything and likes constantly stretching their boundaries. It’s a flexible role that can be adapted to an existing morning or evening schedule and can expand to full time if you cross-over to savory and events. It’s a mix of: We also offer a kitchen full of chef toys to play with, R&D work to make it valuable, in-house recipe tech to communicate, and a general focus on improving every day. Requirements Preferred Education/ Experience Compensation Prep: $18.00-$20/hr for prep Events: $25-$27/hr (depending on role) for event work plus event bonuses or tips.
