Scheduler for a BUSY PAS Private Duty Company

Looking for an Experienced scheduler with excellent customer services skills, multitasking abilities, who works well in a close team setting and has a passion for helping others. Supervise and schedule providers/caregivers for the elderly, convalescents, or persons with disabilities with daily living activities at the person's home or in a care facility. Duties performed at a place of residence may include keeping house (making beds, doing laundry, washing dishes) and preparing meals. May provide assistance at non-residential care facilities. May advise families, the elderly, convalescents, and persons with disabilities regarding such things as nutrition, cleanliness, and household activities. Need to be flexible with own schedule and may need to cover shift in the case of an emergency.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Must have a working understanding of the tasks and missions a Non-Medical Home Health Agency.
  • Must be able to plan and schedule care for all assigned clients using the eRSP System.
  • Maintain accounts of employees and clients care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with supervisor or case manager.
  • Provide employees and clients with training on moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles and with dressing and grooming.
  • Supervise employees for timeliness and effective client care such as changing bed linens, washing and ironing laundry, cleaning, or assisting with their personal care; entertaining, conversing with, or reading aloud to clients to keep them mentally healthy and alert; planning, purchasing, preparing, or serving meals to clients or other family members, according to prescribed diets.
  • Ensure employees provide clients and families with emotional support and instruction in areas such as caring for loved one, preparing healthy meals, living independently, or adapting to disability or illness.
  • Be willing to perform a variety of duties as requested by clients, family members, or company Administrator, such as obtaining supplies or running errands.
