The team at 1 Herald Square Day Program is currently looking for a P/T Receptionist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have enthusiasm for interacting with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, the people we support and staff. Answering phones, directing calls/taking messages and completing special projects as requested by their immediate supervisor or designee. Requirements:
HS/GED required
Work or life experience supporting people with intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred
Ability to participate in 3-5 weekdays of paid NYS Mandated OPWDD initial trainings during normal business hours upon hire
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Microsoft skills preferred
Tuberculosis test mandatory for most positions (provided FREE of charge by our Premier Healthcare clinic)
Schedule: Tuesday & Thursday 3pm - 7pm (8 hours per week) . YAI is an equal opportunity employer.
