Overview:We are seeking a driven, professional entry level candidate to join our team as Office Assistant – customer service experience is a huge plus – as well as any experience with mailing, printing, shipping, and general office assistance and services. As the Office Assistant, you will work part time with your team to assist with all site operations pertaining to office and facilities services, including: mail room services, copy services, light facilities maintenance, conference room set up including basic audio visual equipment, corporate hospitality and event planning, and general office services. Ideal candidates will be computer savvy with excellent communication skills!
The Office Assistant position can potentially lead to career advancement opportunities within IST Management into corporate and management roles – we are passionate about upward mobility for our employees!
Compensation: $25/hour (based on experience)
Schedule:
The Office Assistant will work part time 8-10 hours per week; flexible 1st shift hours available

  • General office assistance and stocking; ordering supplies
  • Mailroom duties, shipping and receiving services, and copier/reprographics services
  • Light facilities maintenance and vendor management
  • Conference services including meeting and event planning
  • Administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required
  • Experience in office assistance or a related role is a huge plus!
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer and internet savvy
  • Ability to communicate professionally both verbally and written with customers and other employees, both one-on-one and during meetings
  • Must have attention to detail and critically think through and resolve problems
  • Ability to meet attendance policy
  • Ability to lift up to 55 pounds on occasion, standing for long periods of time, significant walking
  • Willingness to cross-train for other job functions
