Seeking a dynamic, part-time Chiropractic Assistant/ Front Desk Receptionist for our Macomb chiropractic office. Your responsibilities would include those listed below which primarily include patient care, clerical duties, and packaging online orders in a timely fashion. Monday - 8:00 am to 7:00 pm
Wednesday - 8:00 am to 7:00 pm
Friday - 8:00 am to 7:00 pm
- Handling all patient interactions via phone and in person
- Helping patients on and off therapy equipment (requires some physical strength)
- Managing the flow of the office
- Accepting credit card, check and cash payments (and be able to make change appropriately)
- Verifying insurance benefits
- Counting down a till and balancing end of day reports
- Entering information and paperwork into the computer
- Organization and inventory
- Sending grammatically correct, professional emails
- Clerical work, including copying, pasting, and correcting grammar in emails and other office communication
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written and oral communication
- Must be computer literate
- Types at least 50 WPM
- Be able to stand, squat and bend
- Customer service experience
- Detail and task oriented
- Must be able to multi-task
- Knowledge of insurance (preferred but not required)
- Familiar with chiropractic and/or natural lifestyle practices (preferred but not required)
