General Job Duties & Responsibilities: The Client Care Case Manager will provide "World Class Customer Service" to our clients and assist the progression of several cases by handling matters including but not limited to: Conducting client interviews, acquiring police reports, requesting medical records, providing updates to the client regarding the status of their case, notifying insurance companies, performing calendar scheduling, obtaining files from previous attorneys for onboarding clients, scheduling demand consults, etc. At all times safeguarding and protecting the client’s right to privacy by ensuring that only authorized individuals have access to the client’s confidential information and that all releases of information are in compliance with the request, authorization, company policy, and HIPAA regulations as appropriate. Providing excellent customer service by being attentive, respectful and professional at all times; ensuring understanding of clients’ and coworkers’ requests and following-through as promised; being proactive in identifying and addressing the client’s concerns, or problems. Communicates with department supervision on an on-going basis, providing information and data as requested. Promptly reports to supervision any customer service concerns and/or any potential HIPAA violations Education, Experience, and Skills Requirements: A High School Diploma or GED is required. Must be able to communicate effectively in the English language. Excellent computer skills are required. Demonstrated ability to effectively use computer software and technology as required by the firm including Microsoft Word and Excel Paralegal certification is highly desirable but candidates must have at least one year of personal injury paralegal experience. Substantial client contact is required. Candidates must have great communication skills and the ability to give world-class customer service. Attention to detail is an absolute must. Successful candidates will be able to operate efficiently and effectively in a current remote setting with minimal supervision. Administrative experience in an office setting; previous release of information, medical records, or other directly related experience in a healthcare or law firm environment is preferred. Proven customer service experience is beneficial Demonstrated ability to understand and become knowledgeable of required firm work instructions and policies & procedures. Demonstrated ability to accurately and efficiently utilize a computer for data input, retrieval of data, and all other tasks associated with the release of information services. Ability to navigate through multiple systems and case management software. Ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality. Candidates must have a learning and growth mindset; be resourceful and driven.
