Wage is $19.00 - $21.00 per hour and we offer benefits to full-time employees!

GENERAL STATEMENT OF POSITION:

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

• Communicate with Maintenance Supervisor every morning to know what apartments are back, and their priority
• Coordinate where your team of painters need to be for their day.
• Handle all necessary paint spraying, either in the spray room or other property locations.
• Inspect paint projects to ensure they are up to M.W.S standards.
• Organize crew leads and summer hires to make sure they are prepared for summer peak season.
• Check with managers to see how apartments are looking on their end and see if there are any issues that need to be addressed.
• When communicating with managers, double check for any updates or changes to our scheduled turnovers (such as changed move out dates, and sealing any floors)
• Track the apartments that are painted and communicating that information to cleaners so they can get started in a timely fashion.
• Maintain inventory of paints at all our properties.
• Responsible for Ordering, pickup, and delivery of paint and sundries for all properties as needed.
• Frequent property walks.
• Flexibility with other departments and a willingness to help in our maintenance department as needed.
• Pick up items for recycling at all properties.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read, speak and write English language proficiently to communicate with customers, Manager and co-workers, comprehend and follow instructions and make entries on reports and records.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Excellent communication & interpersonal skills are required.
• Must be able to lift at least 40 pounds.
• Must be able to climb stairs.
• Must have reliable transportation and be okay with hauling material as needed.
• Must be adaptable to changing office environments.
• Must be organized.
• Customer service experience preferred
• This is not a live on site position and you are not required to live at any of our communities to be eligible for this position.

This is a full time position. We manage over 900 apartment homes and you would most likely be floating between 5 of our communities. Our onsite offices are open 9:30-6:00 M-F and 11-4 or 10-5 on Sat. & Sun.
