Position: OWL Program Nurse

Salary: $32.04 per hour for regular OWL day-schedule:
In addition, OWL program will operate a limited overnight program. This employee will receive a flat $50.00 rate for each scheduled on-site/on-call overnight. In the even nursing services are required during overnight duty i.e. after 5:00pm. Employee will begin earning the regular hourly rate of $32.04 with a guarantee of one-hour per occurrence.Stipend is available upon submission of yellow time cards to payroll. (All requests for payment are due by the 10th of each month)
Job Duties: Employee is the school nurse for the Outdoor Wilderness Program
Serving as a chaperone for the OWL Program to include overnights as scheduledMonitoring and addressing health and safety concerns with OWL students and staff,Attending OWL teacher chaperone meetings and trainings,Preparing and distributing necessary medical paperwork and information for Parent Information nights,Assisting the Coordinator and Instructors in maintaining timely communications with staff, administration, parents,Responding to follow-up requests for input, suggestions, and recommendations regarding OWL nursing services.
Work Schedule: Employee will work an itinerant schedule outside of normal hours. Itinerant work schedule attached to planning and participating in multi day and overnight field trip and includes duties performed outside of regular work schedule and duty expectations

Qualifications:
Active RN license in the state of Colorado through the Department of Regulatory Agencies2 years experience as a Registered Nurse
Atleast 1 year of applicable RN experience (Pediatrics, School Nursing, Etc.)
