A subsidiary of St. Mary’s for Women and Children, Crossroads Family Center, located in East Boston, provides family shelter, case management, housing search, stabilization services and a food pantry to more than 70 families each year.
We are seeking a part-time Overnight Supervisor (11pm-7am) to manage the daily activities of the program to maximize the quality of client services and provide for program staff supervision.
SHIFT: Friday and Saturday, 11 pm-7 am
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate's degree in Human Services, Management, or related field, or 2-3 years of supervisory experience.
- 3-5 years direct care experience required.
- Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

CLIENT SERVICES
- Collaborate with team members to engage teens in the program activities and requirements
- Participate in updating Individual Treatment Plans
- Assist residents in establishing structure for their child/ren and themselves
- Support and implement activities, meetings and workshops that enhance parenting and life-skills
- Ensure that resident concerns are addressed in an appropriate manner advocating when indicated
- Ensure that the program maintain a welcoming environment for residents and their child/ren
- Support in effective client intake and discharge process
- Build strong relationships with clients based on respect and understanding of their needs
- Promote responsible care of residents by maintaining documentation in accordance with professional guidelines.
- Support with case management services as needed
PROGRAM MANAGEMENT
- Accomplish staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees

- Ensure client’s records and statistical reports are maintained in a timely manner, as assigned
- Maintain positive working relationship with colleagues
- Administer and document all resident medications

- Maintain accurate documentation, records and files in accordance with standards
- Provide program orientation, training, identify and address staff needs in weekly supervision
- Maintain safety, appearance, and cleanliness of the facility in compliance with health, fire, and safety regulations
- Transport clients in a safe and secure manner in matters related to service delivery
- Provide appropriate feedback and mentoring to keep standard of quality
- Identify and implement positive changes for the betterment of program
PROFESSIONAL GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT
