Outreach and Insurance Enrollment Coordinator (Spanish or Portuguese) Gloucester Family Health Center Summary We are passionate about our mission here at North Shore Community Health! We currently have a full-time opening for an Outreach and Insurance Enrollment Coordinator for our Gloucester Family Health Centers. The Outreach and Insurance Enrollment Coordinator, reporting to the Manager of Patient Services, will work full-time to conduct culturally appropriate outreach to a broad array of organizations in Gloucester and the North Shore community. These include; faith-based organizations, food pantries, shelters, Boards/Departments of Public Health and Education, Chamber of Commerce, etc. The outreach will include education on the following: the process for determining eligibility for public and/or subsidized insurance products; the impact of the ACA 2014 Medicaid expansion on low-income MA residents; how to use the MA health insurance exchange. In addition, the Coordinator will enroll consumers in and around the Salem community into public and/or subsidized insurance programs on-site at health fairs, street fairs, festivals, shelters, drop-in centers, food pantries, churches, etc. The Coordinator will also assess the eligibility of existing and future NSCH patients in insurance programs and enroll them as appropriate. The Coordinator will collaborate with Site Managers and Patient Service Representatives. The Medical Support Coordinator will serve as an onsite liaison between CCA, SCO program and NSCH. He/She will serve as a resource for all providers. As a team member you will work with staff who are racially, ethnically and culturally diverse, so being culturally competent is required. A sense of humor is also very important! Responsibilities QUALIFICATIONS THE ORGANIZATION North Shore Community Health (NSCH) offers comprehensive primary care, dental services, behavioral health care, care management, pharmacy, medication-assisted treatment and enrollment services. In 2019, NSCH provided services to 13,272 patients through 63,170 visits. NSCH has 10 services sites: Salem Family Health Center, the largest and highest volume site, the school-based health centers at Salem High School and Peabody Veterans Memorial High School, Gloucester Family Health Center, Peabody Family Health Center, and behavioral health services only at the Bentley Academy, Collins Middle School, Nathaniel Hawthorne School, Bates Elementary School, and the Peabody Learning Academy.
