The Operations Technology Person (OTP) is responsible for maintaining and repairing the technology equipment in their restaurants. The right canidate will be able to perform certain self-installs and OS upgrades without the need of a professional onsite technician. As new technologies are deployed, the OTP person is dedicated to provideing the resources, tools, and support needed and ultimately ensures that the restaurant technology is optimal for growing sales and guest counts. They will help to ensure technology is looking great and functioning well for our customers and crew. OTPs are the in-house technology resources that can help troubleshoot point-of-sale technology issues and repair or replace equipment quickly, thereby efficiently reducing downtime for customers and crew. Through OTP communications, updated training, documentation, and knowledge refresh programs, the OTP will need to keep the operator informed about the rapidly changing technology landscape during weekly meetings.
Must currently be an OTP 2 or 3 and familiar with McDonalds operating and POS systems and have Flexible availability. Some upgrades or equipment replacements must be done during late evenings or early mornings. You will also need to be available around the clock to troubleshoot onsite or over the phone during a system outage.
