We have excellent opportunities for highly motivated & passionate optometrists who are looking to start a rewarding career. We provide routine eye exams to our largely geriatric patient population, as well as a broad range of treatments related to ocular diseases such as macular degeneration, inflammatory eye disease and dry eye syndrome. We are seeking full-time optometrists to help us provide excellent vision care services to our patients who are located in long term care facilities. This is a unique opportunity because we are mobile. You will be traveling to different nursing homes to provide eye care services to the residents. The right fit will have a car and will be OK to travel long commutes when necessary. Furthermore, will adapt quickly to new environments.

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate optometrist to help us provide excellent vision care services to our patients in long-term care facilities in Barre,VT .

Some of the responsibilities include:

• perform routine, comprehensive exams for glasses and contacts
• perform dilated exams
• provide diabetic evaluations
• treatment of infection and injury
• Repair and equip patients with eyeglasses
• Proficient in diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease
• Comfortable working with geriatric population

Ideal Candidate will:

• Part Time
• Have her/his own means of transportation
• quickly acclimate to new environments
• Be ok to travel to facitilites
