Operations Team Member / Purchasing

DESCRIPTION

Fulfil is hiring an Operations Team Member capable of working at a fast-paced startup at the intersection of food and robotics. Team Members will be responsible for a wide variety of tasks and responsibilities related to purchasing and inventory management, R&D support and testing, data quality and building an operation from the ground up. This role offers ample growth opportunities while working side-by-side with an incredible team to operationalize world-changing new technologies.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree (this requirement will be waived with significant applicable experience)
  • Able to learn new skills quickly and excel in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • High attention to detail; organized
  • Ability to work well on a team
  • Self-starting; able to work independently and troubleshoot problems on your own
  • Comfortable working with computers
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Able to lift 50 lbs

PREFERRED (NOT REQUIRED) QUALIFICATIONS

  • Purchasing experience and/or merchandising experience
  • Experience working with food (grocery, farm, restaurant)

Experience working with/on machinery and tools (especially any sort of robot or drone)

  • Experience with inventory management and/or operations

VALUABLE BONUS EXPERIENCE

  • Creative/trade experience: photography, design, carpentry, metalwork, plumbing, electrical, etc.
  • IT experience
  • Experience with customer care
  • Experience with Excel/Sheets, data entry, large datasets, and databases (e.g MongoDB / MySQL)
  • Experience with QA (Quality Assurance), bug testing, etc.

COMPENSATION

  • Employment type: full-time
  • Compensation: $22 / hour + benefits (health, dental, paid vacation, sick leave, disability, etc.)
