The Operations Support Specialist reports directly to the Director of Production Scheduling and Inventory Control with a dotted line to The Scheduling Manager. He/she develops necessary Warehouse/Shipping operational skills to provide direct support to facilities to improve distribution operations. The Operations Support Specialist works closely with Warehouse Managers/Schedulers to ensure the efficient warehouse operations including inventory procedures, pick/pack/ship and other warehouse functions in compliance with company and customer requirements. Job Summary:

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree recommended and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. Familiarity with Microsoft Office. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Demonstrated ability to communicate orally or in written form effectively with co-workers, vendors and customers.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment
Intermittent physical activities including bending, reaching, sitting and walking during working hours. Must be able to lift and stack boxes/pallets up to 50 lbs.
Following GMP in compliance with all food safety requirements.
