What You’ll Get to Do

The Operations Manager will oversee and manage day-to-day operations of technical services under the contract. This person will have responsibility for the full range of matters pertaining to sustaining assured delivery of services to deliver exceptional User Facing Services and Data Center services across the NGA enterprise.

The candidate will serve as a senior operation representative and be the direct interface to the customer, responsible for establishing a strong working relationship and managing service delivery performance through service level agreements and other key performance metrics.

More About the Role

  • Demonstrated and current experience leading, managing and overseeing large-scale enterprise operations.
  • Demonstrated experience managing globally dispersed teams.
  • Full understanding of ITSM reporting and tracking.
  • Understanding of NGA enterprise environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and experience in presenting material to senior NGA and non-NGA officials
  • Managerial experience in an IC environment with a significant number of direct staff.
  • Experience in a quality assurance environment that includes, at a minimum, knowledge of: customer satisfaction tracking; user complaint and monitoring programs; and quality control (QC) systems reviews and analysis.
  • Attract, train, develop, manage, and retain high performing staff.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

  • At least five years’ experience as a Program Manager managing a service type performance-based contract with a value over $50M per year or $500M in total contract value over the PoP.
  • Experience supervising a multi-disciplinary staff (100 person or more) of various levels.
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing managed services approach in multiple service provider, multi-subcontractor environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in information technology or comparable discipline ITIL v3 Intermediate or expert certification.
  • Security clearance of TS/SCI.

These Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have

  • A minimum of six years of experience managing complex programs and leading geographically dispersed operations and engineering staff of varying skill levels.
  • Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, or another related technical field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in supporting NGA or IC Information Technology Enterprise (ITE) contract.
  • Certified Program Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
