The Operations Manager is responsible for managing one or more functions, sometimes rotating between departments within the Lulus Distribution Center. They will be expected to direct and motivate team members and staff members to exceed business goals, while focusing on inventory and order accuracy. The Operations Manager will be innovative and drive departments forward during times of rapid growth. REQUIREMENTS Skills Required Work Environment Requirements Minimum education and experience required B.S. or B.A. degree or equivalent experience At least 3 years of management experience in Receiving, Inventory Control, Skills Required Proven ability to effectively motivate, develop, and manage 50+ employees, Experience with building or improving inventory management, order Excitement for working in a fast-paced environment with a high level of growth Strong project management and continuous improvement skills Excellent oral and written English communication Flexible to work weekends and late shifts Experience with Netsuite or similar ERP system a plus Demonstrated understanding of freight expense and carrier selection a plus Duties are performed both inside and outside in varying temperatures Intermediate to advanced level in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and Google Suite Excellent oral and written communication skills, and outstanding customer service orientation. Ability to function effectively in a variety of challenging situations and circumstances, including difficult project deadlines, demanding customers, tight budgets, and evolving goals and objectives. Ability to work effectively with co-workers, customers, and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner. Excellent work ethic and attendance. Consistency in giving feedback regarding work progress, timetable, and issues. Exposure to occasionally high background noise is probable Physical Requirements for Performing Essential Duties Sitting/Standing/Walking: Approximately 30% of the time is spent in varying work areas with approximately 70% of time spent in an office environment. Speaking/Hearing: Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisors Vision: Ability to visualize items around the work area. Lifting/Carrying: Ability to lift, carry, and hold up to 50 lbs. Stooping/Kneeling: Ability to stoop and/or kneel to access equipment when needed Reaching/Handling: Ability to retrieve and work with appropriate equipment and supplies
