PMR Healthcare is searching for a motivated, aggressive Regional Operations Manager with a proven history of success in related position(s).
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
- 5+ years of relevant health care management, clinic, or medical group management experience.
- Practical experience in a hospital, health system, clinic, or medical practice.
- Management/supervisory experience including superior customer service skills and conflict resolution.
- Strong operational expertise.
- Advanced operational skills including the ability to recognize workflow problems, redesign new processes/workflows, and create buy-in from all stakeholders regarding changes.
- The ability to effectively work throughout a complex matrix environment and effectively manage day-to-day operations.
- A proven track record of successful fiscal management.
- Experience developing and maintaining budgets.
- The ability to quickly establish credibility and respect with practitioners, physicians, nurses, and client executive leaders.
- Working knowledge of workers compensation and occupational health and wellness.

Location
The individual selected for this position will be remotely based with opportunity for significant amounts of travel (up to 75% of the time). Because significant travel is required, candidates must live near a major airport in the Cincinnati, Dayton, or Louisville metro areas or be willing to relocate to said metropolitan areas.
Position Details
The Operations manager will report directly to PMR Healthcare’s VP of Operations and will be a part of an overall operations management team. In addition to working effectively and relating well with others (including supervisors, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside the company), this position’s key responsibilities include:
- Handle all clinic start-up functions: build-out, training, on-boarding, set-up, and ongoing operations based on contract requirements and PMR standards.
- Provide overall operational and administrative direction: oversite for all activities related to multiple advanced practice clinics in your purview.
- Provide supervision and leadership for team of full-time, part-time, and contract medical staff at multiple clinic sites: direct and indirect responsibilities for interviewing, selection, training, motivating, wage and salary administration, documented & timely feedback, performance appraisal, developing goals, and developing procedures to ensure achievement of goals.
- Institute and participate in regular meetings with staff, management, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Coordinate with corporate office: with corporate for training needs and local client relations, with corporate and client IT for computer/software needs, with corporate HR for staffing, with corporate accounting to confirm accounting procedures, with corporate procurement to ensure medical and office supplies are in place, with corporate training department for staff development as needed.
- Support and manage the clinical mission and objectives of the clinics in collaboration with executive management and supervising physicians.
- Manage local and corporate client relationships: develop a professional and personal relationship that engenders trust and respect; promote PMR Healthcare’s ethics and values, understand the organizational and political environment of the clinics.
- Manage multiple budgets and control expenses effectively: maximize revenue generation, maximize cash flow and volume, and assist with setting individual budgets.
- Accountable for assuring standard operating procedures are in place and utilized in clinics: maintain all operational, medical, safety, and positive workplace standards across all assigned locations.
- Be an advocate for clients, for patients, and for PMR Healthcare.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Operation.
