Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of relevant work experience leading marketing teams, online content and merchandising strategy, managing user flows in eCommerce, digital commerce, or related experiences.
  • 4 years of experience in people management.
  • Experience measuring performance of different digital content using industry standard marketing measurement tools (e.g. Google Analytics).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master degree or MBA.
  • Experience managing content creation, curation, and editing through in-house teams or agencies along with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience working in recruiting, understanding the full recruiting cycle and compliance/equal opportunities best practices.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills, a data-driven approach to decision-making and a systems-thinking style when problem solving.
  • Ability to manage a team through ambiguity in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, while accepting ownership and accountability of the process and delivering on commitments.

The Online Staffing Marketing team is responsible for marketing our employment brand and the talent needs of our business. The team leads the marketing initiatives that attract, engage, and help hire great talent for Google globally.

As the Online Staffing Marketing Manager, you will be a fully dedicated business leader with the opportunity to shape the future of Google’s candidate experience. You will take part in the complete marketing experience and will help create our candidates’ first employment brand impression and interaction. From determining branding, positioning, competitive analysis, feature prioritization, and communications, you will help shape the tone and voice of Google’s candidate experience. In this role, you will influence and shape Google's employment brand, organize and launch candidate experience improvements, and form a future marketing strategy that supports Google’s hiring needs and continued innovation and growth.

You will lead a Marketing team that relies on analytics to challenge conventional thinking and make Google a smarter, more diverse place. Leading a team of creative, ambitious team members, you will improve and redefine the systems that help secure the most coveted leaders and thinkers in our industry. You will partner and influence staffing leaders with rich, meaningful narratives built around data while ensuring the clients and candidates that move through our hiring process have a wonderful experience.

Responsibilities
  • Create and manage the content and merchandising strategy for the Google Careers site, shaping the stories we share, how we promote jobs, how we support potential candidates, and how we help site visitors to find their way to the best Google job for them.
  • Partner with employment brand, social media, paid media, and other marketing-focused teams across Google to source, curate, distribute, and promote compelling content that inspires potential candidates to action.
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to determine future feature requirements needed for our Google careers site and identify experience improvement opportunities within the Google candidate journey.
  • Establish success metrics, track results, and share insights as you support hiring needs globally.
  • Partner with the global Staffing teams to ensure we are collaborating and executing towards our collective vision and goals.
