First Court is looking for 25 enthusiastic, talkative, descriptive, and opinionated yet fair-minded people from the District of Columbia (Washington D.C.) to participate in a Private Jury Trial, taking place online via Zoom. ( You must reside in DC to be eligible.) This trial will be held on Wednesday, March. 16th. It will be from 7:45 am - 2:15 pm Eastern. We are paying $250 for participation.
Participants MUST have a computer/laptop with a webcam and high-speed internet. Sorry, but Smartphones and iPads do NOT WORK FOR THIS PROJECT. Candidates who are fairly tech-savvy are preferred.
We need people who can listen to lawyers' arguments and witnesses and then tell us what they think. The objective of the project is to get honest feedback on the facts of a real lawsuit case by individuals in the area where the case originated.
