Additionally, LCD will administer the WA Cares Fund (formerly Long-Term Services and Supports). Washington is poised to become the first state to establish an employee-paid insurance benefit to help offset the costs of long-term care. ESD will administer the employer premium, self-employed opt-in and exemptions pieces of this new law starting in October 2021. DSHS will administer the benefits in 2025. Our Leave and Care division (LCD) is seeking to hire a full-time/permanent, Office Support Supervisor 1. In this role, you will provide support to our Customer Care Team unit and report to the Operations Support Supervisor. You will support the Leave and Care Division as a working supervisor of a team of Office Assistants that perform a variety of clerical duties and tasks. As the backbone of this team, this position will develop and implement procedure changes, train new and existing staff and resolve any internal and external problems that arise between unit personnel and customers. You'll oversee the daily work of individuals and teams, and communicate instructions from managers, acting as liaison to other departments, and resolving any internal and external problems that arise between unit personnel and customers.
