Coordinates and supervises the administrative office functions of the School of Communication. Provides complex administrative assistance and support including responsibility for administering the course scheduling and curriculum update processes. Serves as School fiscal officer. Supervises assigned staff. Interacts professionally with all internal and external customers using strong customer service skills.
Minimum QualificationsAssociate’s degree in Office Administration, Business Administration or related field and four years administrative/clerical experience which includes budget and supervisory experience OR, in lieu of degree, six years experience in same. Strong customer orientation and excellent interpersonal skills with emphasis on integrity and discretion. Ability to maintain confidentiality on a wide range of issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. PC proficiency in word processing, database, spreadsheet and presentation software.
Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree. Administrative office experience in a higher education setting.
