The Alliance of Indiana Rural Water is a non-profit 501(c) 6 corporation that has been a state affiliate of the National Rural Water Association (NRWA) since 1981. The Alliance is a training and technical assistance trade association with over 800 member systems and Associate Members in Indiana. The Alliance currently has a staff of 16 working with rural and midsized communities across the state. We are currently accepting applications for an Office Administrator. Job Description The role of the Office Administrator is to support the association’s goals and objectives by overseeing the internal workings of its office located in Franklin, Indiana and collaborating with association staff to meet the needs of its members. The office administrator’s duties include general clerical responsibilities and membership services, as well as collaborating with internal work groups on apprenticeship, training and CEU processing, conference marketing and registration, website and social media postings, etc. The Office Administrator wears many hats and is involved in a variety of tasks which will frequently change or be re-prioritized. The office administrator should be flexible to work independently but also collaboratively at the same time.
