Office 365/IIS/SharePoint Administrator

Overview:
This role requires a wide breadth of Microsoft technology experience to deliver quality solutions to our highly geographically dispersed enterprise customers. Ability to implement Microsoft IIS, SharePoint and Cloud technology solutions utilizing Office 365, Azure, Windows Server, IIS and others. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering collaboration projects on time and with minimal user impact. This role requires a consultant with diverse Microsoft competencies who is resourceful, confident under pressure, and has demonstrated skill in both IT Application/Web Infrastructure and Application Deployment. The ideal candidate will be able to communicate well with team members, client technology staff and the ability to present technical topics to business leaders as well as ordinary users.
Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates knowledge of modern enterprise architectures, identity and authentication services, and security and compliance topics as they pertain to web infrastructures.
- Possesses a broad knowledge of key end-user scenarios and technical architecture for Office 365, Office 365 ProPlus, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online/OnPrem, products.
- Performs ongoing administration and account maintenance of the Office 365 tenant
- The ability to solve problems quickly, develop workflow and processes for operation teams, and automate processes through editing current custom PowerShell scripts to remediate any open issues.
- Acts as the primary contact for service escalations and issues troubleshooting, providing third-level support. Resolves client connectivity, client software distribution and mobile installation issues using Microsoft Office 365 support tools - Remote Connectivity Analyzer (RCA), Microsoft Online Services Diagnostic and Logging (MOSDAL), Transport Reliability IP Probe (TRIPP) - to analyze Office 365 service reports, auditing log and third-party service reports.
- Ensures compliance with policies, procedures and regulations to ensure safe and sound business operations. Develops and implements software and configurations to apply appropriate system security mechanisms.
- Ensure the consistent, reliable and business partner centric service delivery through our global managed service provider for End User Support of Office 365, SharePoint and Exchange Online.
- Define best practices and serve as a business partner consultant for use of different Office 365 offerings, including Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Stream, Yammer and Teams
- Maintain relationships with strategic suppliers and stay apprised of latest collaboration technologies
- Has experience with or knowledge of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) with UIPath or Microsoft PowerAutomate/Power Platform.
- Lead the migration of on premise SharePoint environment to SharePoint 2016 and Online/Office 365
- Participate in M&A integration projects to ensure successful email conversions
- Develop and document processes and procedures for any and all supported applications and services
- Act as a point of escalation and business partner advocate for production support issues in partnership with our global managed service provider
- Change champion for Office 365 and SharePoint 2016
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Answers calls and resolves tickets during after-hours call rotation
Required Experience:
- Four or more years of experience in general infrastructure/systems/Applications environments role; One year of that experience concentrated on system administration for SharePoint and\or server platforms
- Knowledge of networks, operating systems, system monitoring, security and technology infrastructure; Microsoft Certifications, such as Office 365 MCSA, MCSE: Cloud Platform and Infrastructure or equivalent, are desired but not mandatory
- Knowledge and experience troubleshooting these platforms: Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, DNS, SharePoint, Skype for Business, OneDrive for Business, SMTP\Mail Relay, Outlook client configuration and PowerShell
- Knowledge of sound, industry-accepted server support practices and methodologies
- Working knowledge of PCs and client devices
- Hands-on experience migrating to Office 365 and/or SharePoint 2016
- Hands on experience with Cloud Identity and Security Technologies - EMS, Federation Services, and Identity management (MIM).
- Own engagements, ensure customer satisfaction, timely delivery, ensure quality
- Work with a team as well as independently

- Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-changing environment
Preferred:
- Experience with Microsoft PowerShell
- Experience with Intune, Mobility and related tools
- Hands on experience in complex migration scenarios, including Hybrid Office 365 configuration
- Experience with 3rd party migration tools from companies such as Dell, AvePoint, etc.
