Job Opening: Full-Time Medical Office A/R Accounts Receivable Position

Busy Multi-Physician OBGYN Practice is looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Associate to join our Team.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To:

  • Generate and work reports for outstanding claims for assigned insurance companies
  • File claims and follow up on pending claims
  • Appeal denied claims to insurance companies
  • Answer incoming calls for billing questions
  • Verify patient's insurance coverage when needed
  • Post insurance receipts and personal receipts
  • Assist with Bank runs
  • Collection calls to patients
  • All other duties required by the AR department

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma, or its equivalent, is required
  • 1+ years experience with Accounts Receivable in a Medical Office is required
  • OBGYN experience preferred, but not required
  • Computer literacy is required
  • Experience with Greenway EHR Software is preferred, but not required
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products is required, especially Excel
  • Skilled in basic mathematics
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team atmosphere
  • Ability to learn new job processes and work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to multi-task with job processes in a fast paced environment

Working Conditions and Physical Demands;

  • Ability to sit, stand, bend and stoop for periods of time
  • Possible exposure to blood and /or bodily fluids
  • Computer use for periods of time
  • This is not a remote or work from home position, and does require in-office work

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
