GENERAL FUNCTION

The Distribution Clerk performs general warehouse activities including but not limited to picking, packing and shipping


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receives/Verifies raw components/materials into SAP system and puts away into designated locations.
  • Pulls production/RN orders using RF scanners/portable printers and consolidates into cart kits.
  • Transports pulled kits, tech support or facilities parts, production supplies and other business unit mail/packages using company shuttle trucks
  • Delivers kits into production areas, picks up/verifies/stages semi-finished goods, RTS, 901s. Returns empty kit carts
  • Meets or exceeds all productivity and accuracy standards
  • Reports discrepancies and anomalies
  • Adheres or follows all safety standards and procedures


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Team Oriented
  • Ability to follow clear instructions
  • Communicates clearly and timely
  • Lifting requirements are as follows:
    • Often up to 20 lb
    • On occasion 25-30 lb.
    • Rarely 45 lb
  • Basic Math Skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide)
  • Ability to read and understand both written and spoken English instructions and directions in order to safely and effectively perform job duties ( ability to read and understand job safety requirements and procedures, instructions and directions from supervisors, lead, or co-workers)
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to maintain concentration for long periods of time, up to 8 – 10+ hours per day
  • Adaptable and detail-oriented with an ability to multi-task


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Certifications: (Forklift, Electric Pallet Jack, Reach Truck, Cherry Picker, Freight Elevator)
  • Passionate about the Oakley brand and products
  • Experience with SAP
