Position details
:

  • The RN House Supervisor, as part of an interdisciplinary team, is responsible for supervising, directing, and potentially providing, the activities of patient care in accordance with the established standards of care and mental health practices. This position contributes to the hospital’s philosophy, objectives, educational and quality improvement efforts, while providing guidance and supervision to nursing staff. While some office time is required, the expectation is that the Supervisor is on the floor, coaching and developing the teams.
  • The schedule for this full time position is Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, 7:00am to 7:30pm.

QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing
  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Washington
  • Three (3) years’ experience as a registered nurse in a psychiatric health care facility
  • BLS, Handle with Care, Verbal De-escalation, and Assessing and Managing Suicide Risk (AMSR) certifications, provided by INBH
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Supervisory/managerial experience
