Adventist Urgent Care seeks to hire an experienced Nurse Practitioner for our Urgent Care who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing.

As a Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner you will:
• Report directly to the Manager and independently be responsible for the safe and effective delivery of patient-centered care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. • Educate patients and family through the continuum of care while striving to advance your own knowledge and skills.
  • Demonstrate professionalism, adhere to ANA standards of practice, and exemplify the Adventist HealthCare values as they fulfill our nursing mission and vision.
  • Utilize equipment and technology correctly, delegate non-nursing duties appropriately to maximize efficiency and effectiveness

Qualifications include:
  • Must have at least 1-2 yrs experience as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Must have at least one year recent experience in an Urgent Care setting
  • Board certified in Family Medicine or have 1-year experience as an NP
  • Must be qualified to see ages 6 months to geriatrics
  • Experience with suturing, treating fractures, L&D abscesses and treating other minor injuries
  • Ability to read plain film X-ray and EKG
  • DOT certification preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish a PLUS
