NURSE MANAGER, RN - Behavioral Health

Seeking a dynamic Nurse with acute care inpatient psychiatric management experience for a Nurse Manager position on a new 14-bed inpatient Geriatric Psychiatry Unit in the St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, NH. This unit will expand to 28 beds.

Nashua is close to Manchester, NH and Lowell, MA (18 miles away) and is only one hour from Boston and two hours from Portland, ME. There is no state income tax or sales tax in New Hampshire!

• The Nurse Manager plans, implements, and evaluates delivery of overall nursing care to patients for the inpatient geropsychiatric unit in Nashua.
• He/she provides managerial support in conjunction with the Program Director by providing supervision and evaluation of all nursing personnel on the unit.

• He/she contributes to the program, nursing, and hospital through commitment to nursing goals, the supervision of clinical staff, and participation in the community relations program.

Requirements:
BSN (MSN preferred) plus 3 years of acute care inpatient psychiatric management experience; or other management experience with several years of acute care inpatient psych experience. Geropsych experience is a plus.
