Non-Emergency Medical Transport Driver

We are seeking Non-Emergency transport drivers to join our team across the Red Oak area.

We are seeking friendly, safe drivers to provide transportation services for clients to and from non- emergency medical appointments. We provide services to clients with and without mobility challenges.

Vehicles and fuel are provided by the company. All rides are scheduled in advance.

Responsibilities:

• Pick-up clients at home or other living facilities. Safely assist clients in and out of the vehicle. Transport clients to non-emergency medical appointments in the surrounding area and counties.
• Safely operate vehicles and wheelchair passenger vans.
• Ensure that passengers and wheelchairs are properly secured before starting vehicle.
• Must follow company policy, safety and operational procedures.
• Must be able to operate mobile devices, various software systems, and be able to operate GPS.
• Pre and Post vehicle safety and maintenance checks each day.
• Check the vehicle to ensure that no personal items are left behind by clients.

Requirements:

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
• Willing to complete a Defense Driving course, Passenger safety course, and a CPR course
• Must be reliable and capable of working independently
• Able to drive for long periods of time
• Friendly, professional, patience and tact when handling clients
• Familiar with smartphones and GPS
• Safely operate vehicle and a wheelchair transportation vehicle

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Van Driver: 1 year (Preferred)
