As a member of the Night Warehouse team you will play a key role in the delivery of products to our customers by directing the workforce to load cases of wine & spirits onto the company’s delivery trucks. You will also supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in verifying and keeping records on outgoing shipments, and preparing items for staging or shipment.

SCHEDULE:
Monday - Thursday, 6pm - finish
Responsibilities:
- Ensure efficient nightly truck loading process (picking orders and loading of trucks) while minimizing breakage. The processes involved are picking from full case pick lines, picking from the bottle room, and replenishment of both full and split case complexes in a timely fashion so that the trucks can be dispatched at their scheduled starting times.
- Directly supervises 3 to 10 associates. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Accomplishes warehouse human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending compensation actions; adhering to policies and procedures.
- Reports damage to equipment, product and facilities occurs; Keeps equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; requiring preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
- Handles work related injuries. Ensure that policies are in compliance as well as OSHA standards.
- Maintains storage area and organizes floor space; adhering to storage design principles; recommends improvements.
- Attend any training seminars or managers meetings that are required and updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
- Report any product shortage or location problems.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree (or equivalent experience) and minimum 3 years experience. Previous supervisory experience a plus
- Knowledge of systems utilized as it relates to logistics
- Excellent MS Office skills
Work Conditions and Physical Requirements:
- Frequent hand motion with warehouse machinery, phones, computers, and 2-way radio
- Occasional carrying and lifting of 25 pounds to perform various office duties as assigned
- Occasional immediate reaching to perform various duties as assigned
- Occasional overhead reaching to perform various duties as assigned
- Frequent standing and walking for short amounts of time to perform various duties
- Frequent sitting for long periods of time at desk or workstation
- Frequent squatting or bending to perform various office duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
