Job Description


Responsible for executing both strategic and project management processes for new client business initiatives, including new business pitches, organic growth opportunities, prospecting, and other initiatives as assigned, as well as activating the new business plan, which include: strategic new business planning and contributing to the agency’s processes and mechanisms to pitch new business to the highest quality standards.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

  • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Manage New Business pitches at the agency and assist with growing agency win rate
  • Create RFI/RFP responses, case studies, cover letters, and other content as assigned
  • Follow New Business best practices, and ensure others are following them as well
  • Regularly identify ways to improve prospecting success, as well as pitch efficiency and win rate, and implements action to address them
  • Execute processes and internal structures to deliver quality pitches that differentiate
  • the agency consistently, while minimizing duplicative efforts from pitch to pitch
  • Maintain strong relationships with key internal stakeholders (Exec Team, account and department leadership)

Qualifications


EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

  • 4-7 years in a new business and/or account role at an agency involved in new business for integrated, creative and/or media pitches
  • Experience in pitching new business throughout the lifecycle: from vetting, casting, timeline and team management, through to scoping/proposal development
  • Proven ability to think on his/her feet and problem-solve resourcefully in real-time
  • Proven ability to manage complex timelines and projects; liaise with project management to ensure creative deliverables are correct and on-time
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of digital marketing
  • Experience pitching AOR and integrated (media & creative) business strongly preferred
  • Strong written and oral presentation skills
  • Maintains a sense of calm and composure under pressure
