Summary:

The Network Administrator II is responsible for all aspects of systems administration including servers, applications, and databases. This includes implementation, configuration, coordination, control, maintenance, troubleshooting, security, usage monitoring, and alerting.


Responsibilities:

Design methods to install Windows operating systems
Design and manage, Citrix Xen App, Citrix NetScaler, SQL, Active Directory, VMWare
Design and manage Epic end user computing systems (IIS, Citrix, SQL)
Design and manage System Center Config Manager
  • Anti-Virus
  • Inventory
  • Software Deployment
Design and manage System Center Operations Manager
  • Monitor Servers
  • Inventory
  • Configure Alerts
4th Level support for Desktop Support
Trouble shooting performance issues of applications across the network
Lawson Windows Server administration

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science Preferred. Consideration will be given to candidates with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
Three (3) years experience as a network administrator (or similar role) required
Professional Certification in the IT Field (for example MCSE Certification) required.
Willingness to complete 4 Epic Certifications on a pre-determined schedule within approximately 18 months (one certification completed every four months) A limit of three attempts to test per certification:
  • Epic Client Systems Administrator – BLOB, Business Continuity Access and Printing Certification
  • Epic Client Systems Administrator Hyperspace Certification
  • Epic Client Systems Hyperspace Web, Interconnect and System Pulse Certification
  • Epic Client Systems Administrator – MyChart and My Chart Mobile Certification

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Occasionally standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, squatting, crawling, twisting and reaching.
