National Account Manager - eCommerce THD - USA

Reporting to the Senior National Account Manager, the National Account Manager will be responsible for developing and guiding the implementation of specific business plans related to eCommerce activities while achieving profitability and sales targets. The incumbent will cultivate and grow relationships with merchants, brand advocates and other customer contacts while executing on strategies related to promotional planning, website execution, product roadmaps, competitive analysis and various other related activities. This position is best served in Apex, NC but we will consider Atlanta, GA as an alternative location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive profitable sales growth within product portfolio online
  • Develop account strategies aligned with ATG’s Peak Performance and Home Depot team objectives.
  • Build relationships with key customer contacts including merchants, brand advocates and marketing associates
  • Provide a high level of service while troubleshooting day to day issues with online business
  • Develop expert knowledge of Home Depot’s sku management system (IDM)
  • Analyze and identify content improvement opportunities for both private label and national brand products online
  • Support other internal teams on national brand activities related to online business
  • Point of Sale (POS) breakdown and analysis
  • Competitive market analysis and intelligence gathering to identify trends and improvement areas
  • Collaborate with NAM on promotional planning activities to drive sales growth
  • Understand and monitor channel conflict and opportunities
  • Assist in various online enhancement strategies (super sku’s, combo sku’s, IRG’s, etc.)
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams - product management, marketing, customer service, creative and supply chain
  • Ensure effective and timely launch of new products into the market (align with store team)
  • Respond to questions and reviews received from customer website in a timely manner
  • Take active role to monitor and manage price strategy, margin attainment and related activities
  • Develop retail market expertise and demonstrate knowledge of competitive landscape
  • Develop specific funnels to manage and execute on key opportunities


Qualifications

  • BS in marketing or business related field; may consider 5+ years relevant experience in lieu of degree.
  • Proven track record of accomplishments and achievements in penetrating large, complex accounts and driving business growth.
  • Must display strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • High energy, driven, self-starter with a high level of personal accountability.
  • Business acumen, organizational savvy and collaborative team player.
  • Strong presentation, communication and negotiation skills required.
  • Excellent computer/systems skills (i.e., Excel, PowerPoint, Word) as well as ERP experience (SAP strongly preferred).
  • Ability to travel (including some overnight) up to 30%.
  • Experience with IDM a plus
