POSITION: Labor Investigations Information Specialist
REPORTS TO: Executive Director of Internal Investigations and Security
PRIMARY FUNCTION: Under the direction of the administration in the Office of Labor and Legal Services and the Office of Talent Management, performs duties in regard to implementation of twelve collective bargaining units. Participates in the administration of labor relations’ activities for the Hartford Public School System, including, but not limited to information requests, employee misconduct investigations, harassments, grievances, arbitrations, bargaining unit contracts, and other duties as required.
TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Process all information requests, including requests under the Freedom of Information Act.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree supplemented by college courses, business training, in-service offerings or on-the-job training in labor relations, labor law, or human resources.
