The Manager of Digital Adoption reports to the Chief Nursing Information Officer and supports MUSC’s academic, research and healthcare missions. Under limited supervision, the Digital Adoption manager ensures high-quality Information Systems and Digital curriculum development, assessment, and evaluation. This position provides direction and resource management to all areas of Information System (IS) and Digital Education. The Manager provides leadership to support the evolution and adoption of information systems and digital education through incorporating adult learning theories, innovative learning methods, IS curriculum, and QA program development. The Digital Adoption Manager will actively provide resource management for organizational projects and operational requests and incidents. This Manager will also coordinate small to moderate educational program initiatives leveraging project methodology and deliver before the established deadlines. This position coordinates and collaborates with other IS and operational leaders and serves as a senior level advisor/consultant to other members of teams supporting IS education related systems and tools.

Minimum Training and Education:

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, management information systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • A minimum of five years’ experience delivering and supporting enterprise information technology solutions required.
  • Previous leadership experience preferred. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; client relations and relationship building; fact finding; presentation and communication (written/verbal) skills required.
  • Project Management certification and experience strongly preferred. ITIL Foundations and Six Sigma Green Belt or higher must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
