Position Summary:

Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading fleet maintenance companies in the US, is looking to hire a skilled Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician in South Gate CA! The Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician will be responsible for the timely repair and maintenance of light-duty fleet vehicles.

What the Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician role looks like:

• Interact with clients in-person, email and phone as necessary
• Prepare vehicle records and report both manually and on a computer
• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance to vehicles
• Inspect and perform work on the underparts of vehicles
• Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance
• Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare required safety documentation

What our ideal candidate looks like:

• At least 3 years experience as a Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician performing vehicle repair and maintenance or strong experience with medium-duty BIT & DOT Inspections and repairs or must possess auto or diesel technology diploma from an accredited technical school.
• Excellent communication skills and proficient computer skills
• Must have own tools
• Must have a valid driver's license
