STATUS: Per Diem

LOCATION: Rochester General Hospital

DEPARTMENT: Imaging Inpatient

SCHEDULE: Friday & Saturday Availability Needed; Evening/Day

ATTRIBUTES

• One (1) to three (3) years Radiologic Technologist experience preferred
• Previous Magnetic Resonance Imaging experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Friendly, warm and patient focused

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Equipment Operation. Perform a variety of routine and advanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures while monitoring and maintaining essential patient safety under general supervision
• Patient Care. Maintain accountability for timely and proper service to patients throughout the MRI area; educate patients regarding their procedure and maintain a safe, comfortable and supportive environment for the patient throughout the exam
• Documentation. Transfer imaging data for archiving and post-data processing; maintain accountability for proper documentation of exams and related procedures

EDUCATION AS: Radiologic Technology (Required) LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS MR - Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); R - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); RT(R) - Registered Radiologic Technologist - New York State Education Department (NYSED) Rochester Regional Health is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer.
