Job Description and Duties Our requirements for applying for this position have changed. Please read this entire job posting! This position is located at the Redding DMV Driver Safety Office (DSO). Seeking an enthusiastic team player with a positive attitude for public contact and customer service. Duties include handling post-licensing actions in the area of physical and mental conditions, negligent operations, Administrative Per Se, and other Driver Safety related issues; creating and scheduling cases; preparing notices and case files; updating the Driver License database; utilizing the Driver Safety Automation Program and other computer systems; preparing and sending notices and documents; and handling incoming and outgoing mail and faxes. The position(s) being advertised may be subject to allocation approval by the Human Resources Branch. Fingerprint/Criminal Record Clearance is required before hire. The Salary Range shown is the minimum and maximum for a full-time appointment. Salaries are non-negotiable and are subject to the California Department of Human Resources salary rules.
