Underwriting Manager is responsible for the operational excellence of the underwriting fulfillment in their area. Will collaborate with Senior Management, Processing and Closing Managers to align best process execution with corporate directives for consistency and efficiency. Assist Regional and Branch Managers with feedback and training for Loan Officers as it pertains to meeting company standards for completeness, quality, and compliance. This position will lead by example in professional and timely communication and customer service.

- Ensures Processing activity meets Compliance and Corporate standards.
- Executes processing capacity plan to ensure quality and service levels are being met consistently.
- Coach and develop a group of Processors. Manage, including performance management/termination at the direction of the Regional and/or Branch Manager.
- Execute action plan to improve Processor performance based off quality and efficiency results.
- Reviews and resolves escalated Processing Issues.

- Balance of leadership, management, and subject matter expertise with excellent verbal and written communication and training skills.
- Ability to motivate, influence, and persuade others is a material or major part of the job, requiring a significant level of diplomacy and trust.
- Obtaining cooperation (internally and/or externally) and a high level of interpersonal skills is critical to the success of this position.
- Interactions requiring considerable discussion of problems, material presentations, and resolving issues impacting divisions, departments, or individuals.
- Encompass knowledge is preferred.

Pay: $105,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
