Modeling & Simulation Support Job #: J7-010a Location: Offutt AFB, NE Schedule: Full-Time Job Description: This role will provide M&S development, integration and execution support and assistance to include supporting analysis, review and assessment of key performance parameters and coordinating with appropriate system architects/engineers to resolve issues or troubleshoot M&S tools being used and provide resolution to obtain the needed capability. Qualifications: - Operate and maintain the baseline Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) M&S systems in order to support training and exercises. Initial focus will be on missile warning, missile defense, Nuclear Command, Control and Communication (NC3), and space. Manage M&S/LVC components in the virtualized and federated architecture in coordination with other government agencies to ensure the environment is available for use by the training audience. Provide help desk support to users of the baseline system during normal working hours with 24/7 surge capability for limited durations as required during exercises and training events. · * Using government provided tools and models, develop, test, and execute fully integrated and dynamic M&S to simulate all display systems used during exercises, training, and wargames. o * The following systems, as a minimum, shall be included: Global Command and Control System (GCCS) Common Operational Picture (COP); Nuclear Planning and Execution System (NPES); Force Status Readiness (FSR) database; and virtualized Integrated Tactical Warning and Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and BMD displays. o * Tools/models include the following: Joint Integrated Ballistic Missile Defense/Missile Warning Training System (JIMDTS); Low Overhead Training Simulation (LOTS); Scenario Injector; Hyperion; and Air Warfare Simulation (AWSIM) o * Coordinate with internal and external customers/organizations during the planning phase to identify and implement an appropriate simulation architecture based on requirements and objectives of a given event. Propose technical solutions and/or alternatives to requirements not currently integrated into a simulation architecture. o * Support the selection, implementation, and execution of detailed computer models or alternative analysis tools for assessment, experimentation, concept development, demonstrations, prototyping, and wargames. o * Develop use cases, user scenarios, concepts of operations, and assist in designing simulation experiments to support modeling and simulation analytics.
