Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel within assigned geography
- Provides insight in development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures
- Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
- Administers compensation program; monitors performance evaluation program and revises as necessary.
- Supports employee relations counseling, leverages EAP resources as appropriate and exit interviewing in partnership with HR Manager.
- Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to established goals.
- Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed. Maintains Human Resource Information System records and compiles reports from database.
- Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment. Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Human Resource Systems Administration
- Work with the Human Resource Managers to execute system administration
- Support Oracle/ UKG administration to include review of employee data modifications (reporting chain, title changes, location changes, transfers, and cost center changes)
- Report and update responses for unemployment claims
- Participation in annual review and performance management process via training and reporting activities as assigned
Education, Work Experience & Qualifications Required
- One (1) to three (3) years of Human Resources experience
- Ability to work within a team environment, possess strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must possess high ethical standards and protect confidentiality.
- Must have proficient computer software skills, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, some Oracle database management experience a plus.
- Experience in a telecommunications or construction environment and experience is desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems.
