JOB TITLE: Ministry Grant Writing Director
IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: CEF of Pennsylvania state director

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The Ministry Grant Writing Director (Director) should:
- Fulfill the purpose of Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF)
- Oversee grant writng responsibilities for CEF of Pennsylvania (Pennsylvania) and CEF of Virginia (Virginia).
- Coordinate with the state directors of Pennsylvania and Virginia to identify and submit grant proposals equally on behalf of both.
- Communicate with local chapters in Pennsylvania and Virginia in conjunction with said state directors.

- Local church
- Ministry
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
The specific responsibilities of the Director are:
- Collaborate with Pennsylvania’s local chapters either by Zoom or in person to identfy projects to pursue.
- Collaborate with Virginia’s state director and local chapters either by Zoom or in person to identify statewide and local projects to pursue.
- Receive and evaluate detailed CEF projects for submission to appropriate foundatons while ensuring adherence to CEF’s purpose and mission.
- Write grant proposals, submit applications, and provide potenial foundations with supporting documents regarding CEF.
- Meet with state directors in Pennsylvania and Virginia periodically to discuss progress and suggested initatves.
- Submit a report to the state boards of Pennsylvania and Virginia monthly through the state directors as to progress in receiving funds from foundations.
- Inform the appropriate local chapters as to progress in securing funds from foundaton grant proposals.
- Ensure that all foundation requirements are met for grant proposals.
- Receive reports from the appropriate state office or local chapters regarding the use of grant proceeds for reporting to foundations that grant criteria have been met.
- With input from the state directors of Pennsylvania and Virginia, establish benchmarks on how much money is raised for each to ensure equity in -me and results between the two.
- Make use of Pennsylvania’s Foundation Search platform to assist Pennsylvania and Virginia in identifying and writing grant proposals.
ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Comply with CEF’s Operations and Policy Manual
- Attend Pennsylvania’s and Virginia’s State Board meetings as needed either by Zoom or in person Attend staff meetings with state directors in Pennsylvania and Virginia as needed
- Submit hours worked to the offices in both Pennsylvania and Virginia.
- Submit travel expenses separately for work done in Pennsylvania and Virginia
- Submit monthly reports separately for Pennsylvania and Virginia
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor of Arts degree
- At least one year of grant writing experience
- Track record of meeting grant submission and awards benchmarks
- Proficient with MS Office Word and Excel
- Knowledge of fundraising information sources
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong people skills
- Excellent organization skills
- Ability to meet deadlines

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $53,000.00 per year
