(API) is an experienced custom rubber mixer, founded in 1992 with the purchase from Michelin of its mixing equipment situated in the former Uniroyal Tire plant, located in Eau Claire Wisconsin. Now operating one of the largest single location custom rubber mixing facilities in America, we are a major supplier of rubber compounds, meeting exact customer specifications for premier manufactures in multiple industries.


Pay Range: $23.64 plus $1.50 shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift

The main function of the Mill Operator is to safely operate the Mill. This position reports the Manufacturing Supervisor on the day shift.


Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for following all plant safety rules.
  • Operate Mill.
  • Set up cutter and stamp wheels according to customer specifications.
  • Take temperature readings to ensure adherence to customer specifications.
  • Inspect rubber for foreign material.
  • Consistently show ability to recognize and deal with priorities and work independently.
  • Demonstrates good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Maintains neat and clean work area.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Manufacturing Supervisor.
