Sitting/Standing/Walking/Lifting/Carrying: A Milk Transfer Technician stands throughout their shift and walks on uneven concrete and tile surfaces. Lifting up to 60 pounds on a frequent basis and 80 pounds on occasional basis. Two or more employees complete lifts of greater than 80 pounds. Pushing/Pulling/Bending/Stooping: A Milk Transfer Technician pushes/pulls while using brooms, dust mops and brushes during clean-up duties. A Milk Transfer Technician bends and stoops occasionally throughout the workday for varying lengths of time. Squatting/Kneeling/Crawling/Twisting/Turning: A Milk Transfer Technician may squat to make necessary connections, or during various clean-up duties. Occasional slight twisting and turning at the waist when making necessary connections, or when performing responsibilities. Climbing/Balancing/Reaching: A Milk Transfer Technician steps on and off the platforms and steps. A Milk Transfer Technician reaches below and/or above shoulder level when making or removing connections and climbs on ladders to access equipment and tests multiple times in a shift. job purpose: The Milk Transfer Technician is responsible to complete all required documents, testing, and ensure all regulatory and quality standards are complied with, along with receiving, separating, filtrating, sanitation, and basic preventative maintenance of all equipment evolving these processes. The Milk Transfer Technician must behave safely while following all documented procedures, GMP and work rules.
